| New El Moro Campground, 7/1/11 |
This new campground opened
July 2011. The campgrounds are on the bluff top South of El Morro School. The new day use area with beach
access and access to the backcountry trails is just below the bluffs. The day use area features creek restorations, beautiful
rock and dry creekbed themed amphitheater and a wheelchair accessible nature path around the creek restoration near the backcountry
trail head. No campfires or charcoal grills are allowed so you might want to bring your battery operated and propane
camping gear. This page has a few pics of each section of the new El Moro camp. Follow the El Moro Canyon link
at the end for more details and pics of the backcountry area. Follow the Laguna Canyon link at the end for pictures
of other areas of Crystal Cove State Park plus the adjacent Laguna Coast Wilderness Park area. Click any picture below

Campgrounds: Both tent sites and RV sites
available, all camp sites have an ocean view. Click here for reservation information.
